Cardinal Dolan broke ground and blessed the construction of the new Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY, on Thursday. It will be named after the patron saint of the archdiocese, St. Patrick. He was joined by Mary Ellen Gerrity, Executive Director for the Trustees of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Cardinal Dolan said that this new Mausoleum and all Catholic cemeteries remind us of what St. Paul says, “keep your eyes on Heaven.”
