One day after Pope Leo XIV was elected, Cardinal Dolan Speaks to The Good Newsroom audiences from the North American College in Rome.

He discusses the new Pope as a worldly person and reminds us that our true home is in heaven. That said, like all Americans, Cardinal Dolan is pleased that Pope Leo XIV is from the United States.

Cardinal Dolan points out the parallel in today’s Gospel between the suffering of the widow of Nain and that of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
