The Church in the State of New York will gather on October 20 – 22, 2023 at Our Lady of the Martyrs Shrine, located in Auriesville, New York, for a Eucharistic Congress
Dear Friends in the Lord,
When you love someone, you want to be with them as much as possible. Our Lord loves us so much that He chooses to remain with us in the Holy Eucharist. Our nation is in the midst of a Eucharistic Revival, for the sole purpose of strengthening our faith in this gift of love – Jesus present Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
As part of this revival, the Church in the State of New York will gather on October 20 – 22, 2023, at Our Lady of the Martyrs Shrine, located in Auriesville, New York, for a Eucharistic Congress. I encourage all in the Archdiocese of New York to attend the Congress, especially on Saturday, October 21, which will feature a special Mass at 11 a.m. celebrated by Bishop Terry LaValley, followed by a Eucharistic Procession in the afternoon. In addition, there will be engaging speakers, lively music, opportunities for confession and eucharistic adoration, time to socialize, food available (although feel free to bring your own picnic), and so much more!
For more information about the Congress and to register, please go to the website here. Please note that all attendees need to register, so don’t delay!
Would you please join me in keeping the Eucharistic Congress in your prayers, that many will come to know, love, and serve Our Divine Lord, who wishes to remain with us in the Most Holy Eucharist.
With prayerful best wishes for a blessed autumn, I am,
Faithfully in Christ,
+ Cardinal Timothy Dolan
