Cardinal Dolan Shares the Church’s Perspective on In-Vitro Fertilization

| 03/1/2024

By: Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan

Cardinal Dolan discusses the Catholic Church’s perspective on in-vitro fertilization and the sacredness of human life on this week’s episode of “Conversations with Cardinal Dolan.”

The topic has been the subject of national news following an Alabama Supreme Court ruling that legally recognizes embryos as people. “There’s division about the morality of in-vitro fertilization amongst the evangelical community. Catholics are very clear -no this is wrong, this is immoral. We can’t tamper with the dignity of the human person and the sacredness of human life.”

See Cardinal Dolan’s conversation with Fr. Dave Dwyer in the video above. You can catch “Conversation with Cardinal Dolan” each week on SiriusXM’s The Catholic Channel (129) and Catholic Faith Network.
