There are many different meanings of the words “human family.” Cardinal Dolan describes three: all of humanity, the family unit, and the Church.
Jesus could have created loaves and fishes from thin air, but He waited to multiply a small donation. When we put our faith in Him, Jesus transforms what little we have into something great.
