Why are you a Catholic? People give a lot of different beautiful reasons, but for 99% of us, the gift of faith was probably passed on through family. We even see that with the Apostles. Jesus called Saint Andrew and Saint Andrew brought his brother, Saint Peter.

His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan was named Archbishop of New York by Pope Benedict XVI on February 23, 2009.
Monsignor Luke Sweeney, S.T.L., is the dean of seminarians and professor of Catholic social teaching at St. Joseph's Seminary. We spoke with him about the next generation of priests, the upcoming comprehensive exams at the seminary, and how we can respect God's creation.
