Durante todo el año, el Comité Arquidiocesano de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe se reúne mensualmente en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en St. Bernard en Manhattan para coordinar los preparativos de la procesión anual del 12 de diciembre que comenzará en la Iglesia desde la calle 14 hasta la Catedral de San Patricio en Midtown. El comité, que cuenta con decenas de coordinadores de diferentes áreas de Nueva York, también tiene como objetivo expandir el mensaje de amor por Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe al mundo.

Throughout the year, the Archdiocesan Committee for Our Lady of Guadalupe meets every month at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at St. Bernard in Manhattan to coordinate all the logistics for the annual procession on December 12 that will start at the Church on 14th Street and end at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown. The committee, which has dozens of coordinators from different areas of New York, also aims to spread the message of love for Our Lady of Guadalupe to the world.

Proclaiming the Jubilee Year, Pope Francis had appealed to the world's wealthiest nations to "acknowledge the gravity of so many of their past decisions and determine to forgive the debts of countries that will never be able to repay them."
