The St. John Vianney Clergy Residence in the Bronx was the place to be on Thursday for their annual Thanksgiving celebration.

This residence is a comfortable and safe home for retired priests who have devoted their lives to serving parishes and schools throughout the Archdiocese of New York.

Cardinal Dolan and several bishops joined the residents and staff to give thanks for God’s blessings.

During the second canonization ceremony of his pontificate, Pope Leo declared the sainthood of seven men and women from the 19th to the 21st centuries.
