In today’s Gospel, we see grace operating in Peter’s heart as he realizes that Jesus truly is the Son of God. When we reflect on our own lives, we can certainly pinpoint moments when God makes clear to us deep truths that we were once unable to grasp.
Father Borstelmann entered eternal life on December 28, 2025. He had served as at St. Joseph in Croton Falls and St. Colman in East Kingston, a chaplain at Rockland State Hospital, and at Bronx Developmental Center for 40 years.
