Local Paulist Father Discusses Pope Leo XIV’s ‘Magnifica Humanitas’ From His Experience With Artificial Intelligence

On Monday, May 25, Pope Leo XIV released “Magnifica Humanitas,” his long-awaited encyclical focused on the need for safeguards to be put in place on artificial Intelligence before it begins replacing human thought.
The Good Newsroom spoke with local Paulist Father, member of the Builders Artificial Intelligence Forum, and author of the upcoming “Catholic Handbook for A.I.,” Fr. Ricky Manalo of St. Paul the Apostle Church, to hear his expert opinion about what was said in this encyclical.
