St. Joseph’s School in Yorkville, Manhattan kicked off the first day of school across all Catholic Schools throughout the Archdiocese of New York on September 7, 2023 at 8 AM.

Sister Mary Grace Walsh ASCJ, Ph.D., the Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of New York, welcomed new and returning students back to school upon their arrival and was present during St. Joseph’s School’s first morning assembly of the schoolyear, led by Principal Theresa Berner.

Founded in 1905, the all-girls school moved to 97th Street after 50 years at 56th Street and First Avenue.
