A Mass and Eucharistic procession was held in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Tuesday to kick off the Napa Institute’s 2023 Principled Entrepreneurship Conference.
Over four thousand people took part. Most hailed from the Archdiocese of New York and the surrounding areas.
The Mass was offered for peace in Israel and was celebrated by Fr. Mike Schmitz, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the Diocese of Duluth, Minnesota, and renowned speaker.

Corazon Puro, the Bronx-based Catholic outreach ministry for youth and young adults, will host a bilingual missionary formation gathering for ministry leaders and volunteers, in particular, the Hispanic Ministry laity.

Today's parable is surely a familiar one. It's more than a nice story though. We have to take it personally. Can you visualize this path of the seed sown on soil? Sometimes we find ourselves on rocky ground, amid thorns, or happily on fertile soil. Before we make choices in our lives, we have to be reminded of today's Gospel. We need to not only hear the Word of God but understand it.
