You can watch Fr. Donald Haggerty’s homily from this morning’s Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral here.
He discusses the first appearance of Jesus to the Apostles after the Resurrection. The first words we hear from Jesus are, “Peace Be With You.” Peace is a deep gift our Lord wants to give in every encounter with Him. Jesus also tells His Apostles to look at His wounds, a reminder of how much He loves us.
The goal of the series is "for people to get a deeper connection to Christ and to have a more intimate relationship with Him," said Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus.
