At the conclusion of the sacrament of baptism, we say the “ephphatha” prayer, which comes from today’s Gospel. When we truly listen to the Good News of the Gospel, everything starts to make sense.
He reminds us to not be inflated with pride. Everything we have is because God gave it to us. Our experience with life should be one of gratitude
