On October 7, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, parishioners from St. Vincent Ferrer Church on Manhattan’s Upper East Side took their faith to the streets, leading the parish’s first-ever Rosary procession from the church to the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. Organized by the Dominican friars, the candlelit walk brought hundreds together to pray for peace and healing in the city, briefly transforming Central Park into an outdoor chapel.

Sister Rose served the Sisters of Our Lady of Christian Doctrine for 75 years as a spiritual director, formation director, and RCIA coordinator, leading parishes across New York, South Carolina, and Florida, and serving as president of the congregation from 2010 to 2014.
