La Iglesia de la Transfiguración fue construida en 1801. El 31 de agosto de 1815 un incendio catastrófico arrasó la zona, destruyendo 35 casas y esencialmente la iglesia, que fue renovada en 1818, siendo hoy catalogada como la segunda iglesia católica más antigua de la ciudad de Nueva York.

The Church of the Transfiguration was built in 1801. On August 31, 1815, a catastrophic fire devastated the area, destroying 35 houses and essentially the church, which was renovated in 1818, and is today listed as the second oldest Catholic church in New York City.

This summer, more than 230 students entering first through eighth grades are returning to the classroom to strengthen academic skills, explore new interests, and continue growing through Summer Journey.
