
Mira Sorvino and Sam Sarelli Lead Anti-Trafficking Panel at St. Patrick’s Cathedral

To raise awareness of the issue of human trafficking, St. Patrick’s Cathedral hosted a panel on July 30, World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. The event featured Mira Sorvino, a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and Academy Award-winning actress, and Sam Sarelli, an anti-trafficking advocate, paralegal,and Miss Globe USA 2025.
The Good Newsroom spoke to the panelists about the importance of educating people about human trafficking and exploitation, and how they use their roles to shine a light on the issue and help stop human trafficking.
The magazine's list includes "leaders," "innovators," "shapers," and the group Pope Leo has been listed in, "thinkers."
