You can watch Msgr. LaMorte’s homily from this morning’s Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral here.
Today we’ve resumed our Easter readings until Pentecost. In today’s passage, John makes reference to the image of Jesus being lifted up on the Cross. Holy Scripture is bringing us back to the Cross, a reminder that it is always with us. It is also the springboard to the Resurrection. Msgr. LaMorte reminds us that we celebrate our new life in the Lord and a renewed call this Easter season.
The goal of the series is "for people to get a deeper connection to Christ and to have a more intimate relationship with Him," said Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus.
