New York Catholic Youth Day Brings 500 Teens Together in Celebration of Faith and Hope

More than 500 high school students from across the archdiocese gathered at Saint Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers on Saturday, September 27 for New York Catholic Youth Day.
The event, themed “Pilgrims of Hope,” featured prayer, breakout sessions, Confession, and Mass with Cardinal Timothy Dolan. Teens and youth ministers shared how the day deepened their faith, built friendships, and inspired them to live as bold witnesses to Christ.
Sister Vickie entered eternal life on September 28, 2025. Her early ministry included work at St. Dominic's Home and a total of 19 years at St. Lucy School.
