Monsignor Robert J. McCabe passed away on February 27, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Valentine and Lillian (Cleary) McCabe.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and John.

He is survived by his brother Paul, nephews Keith and Mark, niece Laura, grandnephew Ethan, and grandniece Amalia.

Monsignor McCabe was ordained on May 30, 1964, and his career as a priest spanned over 50 years. The last parish he served was St. Mary’s Church of Haverstraw, NY.
