St. Martin of Tours Parish in the Bronx has a healing prayer grotto dedicated to Our Lady Undoer of Knots.

It is a Catholic devotion that has become popular in recent years, particularly due to the support of Pope Francis who has recommended it several times during this pontificate.

The parish, in collaboration with the Archdiocese’s Office for Family Life, hosted an evening of hope and healing on October 5th to underline how families can benefit from this devotion.

The new saints are Blessed Giuseppe Allamano, founder of the Consolata Missionaries; eight Franciscan friars and three Maronite laymen who were martyred in Syria in 1860; Canada-born Blessed Marie-Léonie Paradis, founder of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family; and Blessed Elena Guerra, an Italian nun who founded the Oblates of the Holy Spirit.
