The feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe began with high energy from an excited crowd that started at the shrine celebrating the Blessed Mother and traveled all the way to St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

The pope emphasized the importance of recognizing "that longing for love in our lives, for … searching, a true searching, for finding the ways that we may be able to do something with our own lives to serve others."
