The four weeks of Advent brought an array of Christmas concerts and live Nativity performances to Catholic schools across the Archdiocese of New York, reminding the faithful of the true meaning of the season: joyfully awaiting the birth of Christ Jesus.
The cherished tradition of reenacting the Nativity introduces young students to the story of Jesus’ birth. The performances also provide students with the opportunity to confidently use their voices in front of an audience of proud family members and friends.
Participating schools included:
- Cornelia Connelly Center (Manhattan)
- Immaculate Conception School (Tuckahoe)
- Immaculate Heart of Mary (Scarsdale)
