Pope: Baptism Says We Are God’s Beloved Children

Pope Francis celebrated the feast of the Baptism of the Lord by baptizing 16 infants during Mass in the Sistine Chapel on Sunday and reminding all Catholics of the meaning of baptism during his Angelus address.

Catholic News Service has this report from Vatican City.

"If Our Savior can be born in a stinky, messy place like that, He can certainly be reborn within us," the cardinal said in his homily.
