More than 4,000 people took part in the various archdiocesan listening and discernment sessions

The Synod on Synodality takes place this month in Rome, with the Archdiocese of New York’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan participating. The synod is a “three-year process of listening and dialogue” initiated by Pope Francis. In the Archdiocese of New York, synod sessions took place in late 2021 and early 2022, with the results compiled into the archdiocese’s Synodal Synthesis, published in June 2022.
