The Mass of the Lord’s Supper will begin at 5:30 p.m. today and will be celebrated by His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan.

Later today the Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The 5:30 p.m. Mass will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person. The livestream can be accessed on the homepage of The Good Newsroom (www.theGoodNewsroom.org).

This well-known Mass is the official start of the Triduum. It commemorates Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples and includes the ritual washing of the feet, recalling when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples in an act of humility and service. Cardinal Dolan will celebrate the Mass, and Father Michael Caruso, SJ will be the homilist.
