Students at San Miguel Academy in Newburgh Are Defying the Odds

San Miguel Academy is a Catholic tuition-free middle school for at-risk boys and girls in Newburgh, New York with a mission of breaking the cycle of poverty through education.

Mary Shovlain stopped by to check it out and the results are inspiring.

Initiated as a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project, the club has evolved significantly over the past decade.
