Three Archbishop Stepinac High School basketball players have been selected to the prestigious 2026 McDonald’s All American boys’ basketball team, the school announced.
Jasiah Jervis, Adonis Ratliff, and Darius Ratliff will represent Stepinac at the McDonald’s All American Game in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 31, 2026. The game will be broadcast on ESPN at 9 p.m. EDT.
“It is a tremendous honor not only for these three guys individually, but the school, the program, and their respective families. We are so happy for Jasiah, Adonis, and Darius,” said Patrick Massaroni, Stepinac’s head basketball coach.
The trio joins a select group of Stepinac alumni who have received the honor, including R.J. Davis, currently playing in the NBA G League, and Johnuel “Boogie” Fland, now a point guard for the University of Florida.
Jervis, a senior from the Bronx, signed his letter of intent to Michigan State University in November 2025. The Ratliff brothers, both seniors from New Rochelle, committed to the University of Southern California (USC), where they will continue their basketball careers together.
Each year, 24 girls and 24 boys are selected for the McDonald’s All American teams, which are then divided by region into East and West squads. The selection recognizes the nation’s top high school basketball talent.
The Crusaders will look to finish their season winning 14 on the bounce, having made it 13 in a row on Saturday with a win over Mount St. Michael Academy, 78-62, just one night after beating Iona Prep 76-49. Archdiocesan boys’ basketball playoffs start Sunday, February 15, at Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx. With a first-round bye as the number one seed, Stepinac won’t begin a title defense as archdiocesan champions until Tuesday, February 17. Stepinac is also the defending title holder for the intersectional playoffs, when Diocese of Brooklyn teams play Archdiocese of New York squads, and the reigning Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) vs. Public School Athletic League (PSAL) champions.
