
Thrive for Life Prison Project Presents Sacred Music Composed by a Man Currently Serving 25 Years to Life

Thrive for Life Prison Project, a ministry for all people affected by incarceration and detention, presented a special concert at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in April during Lent.
Musician Paul Cortez, able to cultivate his passion for music behind bars, created a beautiful composition based on Jesus’ anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Members of the community gathered in midtown Manhattan at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church to grieve the tragedy that took place just yards away at 345 Park Avenue.
