Thrive for Life Prison Project, a ministry for all people affected by incarceration and detention, presented a special concert at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in April during Lent.

Musician Paul Cortez, able to cultivate his passion for music behind bars, created a beautiful composition based on Jesus’ anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane.

The Holy See’s permanent representative remembers “a friend of God and therefore a friend of all humanity."
