In today’s Gospel we see Jesus return to His hometown, where they just don’t believe in Him. That is a very important lesson for all of us. It’s a blessing to have been raised Catholic, but it’s important not to take it for granted.
In this in-between stretch of Ordinary Time, between the high feast of Christmas and the solemn preparation of Lent, we find ourselves in a new place as we settle into the New Year.
