When we pray the Hail Mary, especially during this month of the Rosary, we are echoing the words of the Angel Gabriel, Saint Elizabeth, Mary herself, and the Church. We remember that Mary will be here for us now and at the moment of our deaths.
Father Borstelmann entered eternal life on December 28, 2025. He had served as at St. Joseph in Croton Falls and St. Colman in East Kingston, a chaplain at Rockland State Hospital, and at Bronx Developmental Center for 40 years.
