Hundreds of people attended the second day of New York Regional Encounter, held on March 28 at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church in the Bronx. The event featured sessions by Bishop Joseph Espaillat and other speakers, as well as Eucharistic Adoration and a Healing Service.
Education, as Pope Leo writes, is the new name for peace and the way we place hope on the map of the present and the future.

Sister Joan entered eternal life peacefully on October 29, 2025. She taught at Blessed Sacrament School, New Rochelle, St. Jerome's School, and St. Philip Neri School in the Bronx, and at The Ursuline School, New Rochelle.
