Meet Archbishop Charles Brown, a New York Native and Global Ambassador for the Vatican

Archbishop Charles Brown, who was born in Manhattan and raised in Rye, is the Vatican’s ambassador to the Philippines.

During a visit to New York City on Sunday, he concelebrated Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral alongside Cardinal Dolan and took a moment to speak with The Good Newsroom. Learn about his New York roots and how his role as an apostolic nuncio has taken him all across the globe.

The Feast of Corpus Christi dates back to 1264, when Pope Urban IV instituted it following a Eucharistic miracle in Italy that year.
