On Wednesday, January 24, His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan hosted the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal Manhattan Deaneries Regional Event at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Manhattan.

The event was attended by approximately 150 guests and began with Mass celebrated by Cardinal Dolan, and concelebrated by Reverend Monsignor Joseph P. LaMorte, Reverend David Nolan, Reverend Donatus Mgbeajuo, MSP, Reverend Trevor Nicholls, Reverend Ryan Muldoon, and Reverend Isaiah Beiter, O.P. A reception followed the Mass. The event served as an opportunity to thank current donors and appeal for continued stewardship for the Archdiocese of New York, which makes everything the Church does possible.

The reception also highlighted the Catholic Center at New York University (NYU), celebrating its decade-long service as an important resource for Catholic students in New York City. The Center reaches out not only to NYU students but also to those attending City University of New York and other Manhattan institutions, benefiting around 450 undergraduate and 150 graduate students.

The center’s activities are financed through the Appeal, contributing significantly to campus ministry programs for young adults.
