On Wednesday, March 6, the documentary “Follow That Bishop!” about American Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen had its New York premiere at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture in Manhattan.

Fulton Sheen, a best-selling author and television celebrity, was followed by millions of people worldwide, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under its Director, J. Edgar Hoover.

Produced by Rome Reports TV News Agency, the 28-minute documentary includes exclusive footage shot in Peoria, Illinois, and Rome. It reveals the contents of recently declassified FBI files and sheds new light on the miracle that initiated the process for Fulton Sheen’s beatification.

The screening was followed by a panel moderated by journalist Mary Shovlain, featuring Professor of Dogmatic and Fundamental Theology, Father John P. Cush; former archivist from the Archdiocese of New York and Pastor of Regina Coeli Church, Father Michael Morris; National Director of The Pontifical Mission Societies in the U.S., Rev. Anthony B. Andreassi; and CEO of Rome Reports and co-director of the documentary, Antonio Olivié.

Deacon Marino served Immaculate Conception parish for 42 years and taught in Clarkstown schools for nearly four decades.
