St. Patrick’s Cathedral: Seven Last Words Livestream

The Seven Last Words service will begin at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral at 12:00 p.m.

The Seven Last Words service will begin at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral at 12:00 p.m. It will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person, and the livestream can be accessed on the homepage of The Good Newsroom (www.theGoodNewsroom.org).

 The “Seven Last Words” of Christ, which, although they are traditionally called “words,” are seven statements Jesus made from the cross. The service will include talks about the words, songs, and scripture readings. Monsignor Jim Vlaun will be the preacher.

As chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Migration, Bishop Seitz reaffirmed the commitment of the Catholic faithful to walk with refugees in compassion and hope.
