The Good Newsroom got a behind-the-scenes look at John S. Burke Catholic High School, one of the archdiocese’s top-performing high schools and the only Catholic high school in Orange County.
With the addition of a middle school in Burke Catholic Academy, the opportunities offered at the school have grown immensely. Among those many programs, we talked to a member of the Teacher’s Assistant program, which allows upperclassmen to help the next generation of Burke students succeed.
The Harlem native, whose home parish was St. Aloysius Church on 132nd Street, served 23 terms in Congress.
