The Good Newsroom got a behind-the-scenes look at John S. Burke Catholic High School, one of the archdiocese’s top-performing high schools and the only Catholic high school in Orange County.
With the addition of a middle school in Burke Catholic Academy, the opportunities offered at the school have grown immensely. Among those many programs, we talked to a member of the Teacher’s Assistant program, which allows upperclassmen to help the next generation of Burke students succeed.
Father Mark-Mary Ames talked about why he felt it was important for the faithful to explore the meaning behind the beatitudes.
