Archbishop Hicks Discusses Cardinal Dolan’s Anniversary Block Party, Pope Leo XIV’s Encyclical on AI
By: Archbishop Ronald Hicks
On the May 19 episode of All Good Things with Archbishop Hicks, Archbishop Ronald A. Hicks and Father Dave Dwyer talk about the block party celebrating Cardinal Dolan’s 50th anniversary as a priest, and Pope Leo XIV’s forthcoming encyclical on artificial intelligence.
While speaking to Father Dave Dwyer, Archbishop Hicks said it was a “great gift” to give the homily at the Mass honoring Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan’s 50th anniversary as a priest. A block party followed the Mass, during which 51st Street was closed to vehicular traffic, a band played, and Cardinal Dolan celebrated with thousands of well-wishers.
Father Dwyer and Archbishop Hicks went on to talk about the latter celebrating his first Ascension Thursday Mass as Archbishop of New York, and the continuing Easter season. They also discussed Pope Leo XIV’s forthcoming encyclical on AI, and how the Pope is taking current issues seriously.
This conversation is part of this week’s episode of All Good Things with Archbishop Hicks on SiriusXM’s The Catholic Channel (129) and Catholic Faith Network.
