Catholic Charities Community Services and Astor Services partnered to host a Back-to-School Party in the Highbridge section of the Bronx, distributing hundreds of backpacks filled with supplies.
With families facing average costs of $628–$741 per child for school essentials, the event offered not just practical help but also community spirit, music, food, and resources to start the school year with confidence.
The group is visiting Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Israel to show support for beleaguered Christian communities.
