The Feast of the Ascension is this Thursday. Bishop Byrne, Episcopal Vicar of Staten Island, reflects on the great significance of this feast and how it reminds us of our earthly vocation and our ultimate destiny in Heaven.
“May we continue to work together for the common good and for a society in which all citizens are able to participate fully and faithfully in our democracy," the bishop said.
