Cardinal Dolan Blesses Thanksgiving Food for Families in Need

Every year, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Cardinal Timothy Dolan leads a heartfelt tradition at St. Patrick’s Cathedral: blessing the food collected for families in need across New York City. Joined by volunteers, parishioners, and Catholic Charities, this special moment celebrates gratitude, generosity, and community.

The blessed food ensures that households in need throughout the city can experience the warmth and hope of Thanksgiving.
