The Archdiocese of New York began the Jubilee Year of 2025 with a solemn Mass celebrated by Cardinal Timothy Dolan at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday. The liturgy marked the start of a year of grace, drawing thousands of faithful to “America’s Parish Church.”

The Mass opened with special prayers led by Cardinal Dolan, setting a tone of reverence and joy for the historic celebration. Reflecting the Jubilee theme, “Pilgrims of Hope,” these prayers emphasized God’s mercy and the call to renewal for Catholics worldwide.
