Cardinal Dolan Issues Four Decrees

The decrees were made public to all the faithful through their publication on the archdiocesan website

After extensive consultation, Cardinal Dolan issued the following four decrees:

  1. Merger of the Parishes of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Martin of Tours, Bronx (effective May 31, 2024)
  2. Merger of the Parishes of Holy Family and St. John the Evangelist-Our Lady of Peace, Manhattan (effective June 30, 2024)
  3. Merger of the Parishes of Saint Peter- Saint Denis and Immaculate Conception, Yonkers (effective June 30, 2024)
  4. Relegation of Saint John the Evangelist Church, in the Parish of Saint Mary of the Snow-Saint Joseph-Saint John the Evangelist, Saugerties (effective May 31, 2024)
