July 16, 2024 – Tomorrow, thousands will gather in Indianapolis for the first National Eucharistic Congress in 83 years. Pilgrims started walking weeks ago and Catholics around the world will be watching and following updates about the five-day congress that will include talks, worship, and special events all designed to bring attention, focus, and adoration to the Eucharist.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, auxiliary bishops, and over 250 people from the Archdiocese of New York will meet at Lucas Oil Stadium for this historic gathering.

Cardinal Dolan will lead a Mass for the New York Pilgrims on Wednesday, July 17. He will also lead the Opening Mass, the official start of the congress for all attendees, on Thursday, July 18.

Fernanda Pierorazio and Mary Shovlain, reporters from the archdiocese digital newsroom, The Good Newsroom, will be on-the-ground in Indianapolis to provide coverage to readers and viewers. The newsroom team will be publishing stories in both English and Spanish. Visit The Good Newsroom for more information.
