A Word from Cardinal Dolan: Magnificat Canticle

This week before Christmas we have two beautiful canticles or songs of praise.
They both come from Saint Luke’s Gospel. Today Cardinal Dolan reflects on the Magnificat. It’s the Latin word for being magnified or praised and is the praise of our Blessed Mother Mary.

His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan was named Archbishop of New York by Pope Benedict XVI on February 23, 2009.
