El jueves 2 de abril, Caridades Católicas de Nueva York llevó a cabo su tradicional distribución anual de alimentos por el Jueves Santo, en colaboración con Goya Foods, en el área de Washington Heights. Alrededor de 400 familias recibieron alimentos para llevar a sus mesas durante esta Semana Santa, en una jornada marcada por la solidaridad y el servicio. El arzobispo de Nueva York, Ronald A. Hicks, participó en el evento, compartiendo con familias hispanas y acompañando la entrega de ayuda. Esta iniciativa, que se realiza cada año, busca apoyar a las comunidades más necesitadas durante la Semana Santa.
