Sr. Mary Sullivan, OSU, entered eternal life on Aug. 17, 2026. Sr. Mary spent decades as an educator, hospital chaplain, and justice advocate, serving in leadership roles while championing causes from immigrant rights to human rights monitoring in Northern Ireland.

Sr. Mary Liegey, SC, entered eternal life on Aug. 7, 2026, in her 76th year as a Sister of Charity of New York. Sr. Mary's 41 years of active ministry were dedicated to education: 37 in elementary and four in parish religious education.

Sister Mary O'Brien, SC, entered eternal life on Aug. 16, 2026, in her 76th year as a Sister of Charity of New York. She devoted 38 years to teaching, from elementary classrooms in Manhattan and the Bronx to high schools in the Bahamas and Rye.

A devoted Dominican Sister of Hope for over 70 years, Sr. Margaret brought her sharp mind, generous spirit, and lively wit to decades of work as a teacher, principal, treasurer, and pastoral minister across New York and New Jersey.
