Monsignor Carney entered eternal life on November 6, 2024. In 2018, Lawton Avenue in Hartsdale, where the Church of the Sacred Heart is located, was renamed "Rev. Msgr. Patrick J. Carney Way," in honor of his service to the parish and community.

Sister Alice Conrad (Mary Frances), a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion for 71 years, entered eternal peacefully on October 27, 2024. She spent the majority of her ministry serving the people of Westchester County in schools, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and government, as well as daycare centers and summer camp programs.

Sister Mary Groves entered eternal life on October 27, 2024. Among the positions she held, she was a business teacher and department chair at Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Poughkeepsie (1963-92), and secretary to the Marist Brothers in Poughkeepsie (1972-87).

A founding member of the Community of Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal (CFR), Mother Lucille saw the CFR Sisters grow to have five convents in three countries, serving the poor through outreaches such as a soup kitchen, an overnight shelter, food and clothing pantries, and a drop-in center.
