The Epiphany School in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood marked the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday with Mass and the distribution of ashes.

We caught up with some of the students to ask them what special things they are doing during Lent to help them prepare for Easter.

Monsignor Luke Sweeney, S.T.L., is the dean of seminarians and professor of Catholic social teaching at St. Joseph's Seminary. We spoke with him about the next generation of priests, the upcoming comprehensive exams at the seminary, and how we can respect God's creation.
