Hace casi 10 años un grupo de inmigrantes mexicanos pertenecientes a diferentes parroquias crearon el Comité Guadalupano de la Arquidiócesis de Nueva York con la intención de promover y celebrar a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Actualmente, el comité cuenta con decenas de voluntarios que durante el año se reúnen para organizar varios eventos, entre ellos la procesión del 12 de diciembre que sale de la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en San Bernardo en Manhattan hacia la Catedral de San Patricio antes de la Misa en el día festivo.

Almost 10 years ago, a group of Mexican immigrants belonging to different parishes created the Guadalupe Committee of the Archdiocese of New York with the intention of promoting and celebrating Our Lady of Guadalupe. Currently, the committee has dozens of volunteers who come together throughout the year to organize various events, including the December 12 procession that leaves the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Bernard in Manhattan and head to St. Patrick’s Cathedral before the annual feast day Mass.
