To celebrate the semiquincentennial of the United States, The Good Newsroom takes you on a walking tour of Lower Manhattan to see historic sites such as the Shrine of Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Peter’s Church, New York’s oldest parish, the Church of the Transfiguration, and Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Pope Leo XIV will confer the sacred pallium upon new metropolitan archbishops, including Archbishop Ronald Hicks, during the Mass on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul.
